Jazz Bands

Conductor: Kevin Thompson

The MRHS Studio and Lab Jazz Bands are comprised of talented individuals who share a passion for Jazz. Students must audition for placement within either the Studio or Lab Jazz Band. Both ensembles study jazz literature and improvisation in a variety of musical styles. They compete and perform locally in events such as the Katy Jazz Festival each spring.
